Ruffle Top + Embroidered Jeans

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share this cute and casual look that is perfect for a weekend shopping trip or lunch with friends. Yes - another ruffle top. I just can't get enough! This J.Crew sleeveless top has the prettiest textured polka dot detail all over, and it buttons at the neck (you could leave it unbuttoned if you wanted a bit more breathing room). It is also on sale for 30% off with code HAPPYSPRING now through tomorrow (3/24/17). Get it in a bright citrus (yellow) and black, too!

One of the biggest trends this spring is embroidery, and I am obsessed! I just recently picked up these amazing LC Lauren Conrad jeans with blue floral embroidered detail on the pockets and near the ankles. I would also venture to say that these may be the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. Seriously. I don't know what it is, but they hug in all the right places and just feel so good. They are on sale right now for $28, so run and check to see if your size is still available because they are going quick!

On a side note, I am SO HAPPY FOR SPRING! Do you all have any fun trips coming up? I am itching to go to some place tropical, but I would settle for a road trip somewhere a little closer. I would love to hear about your upcoming travel plans and where you think I should go. Let me know in the comments!

The Perfect Easter Dress

One of my favorite fabrics to wear during the spring and summer is seersucker. Couple that with stripes and scallops and you have this Lauren James dress that stole my heart the minute I saw it. I knew this would be the perfect dress for Easter! It is actually one piece, although it looks like two pieces. The details on this dress are so pretty and feminine, with the back opening slightly and buttoning at the top (scroll to the very last photo in this post and you'll see!). I might pair it with a white cardigan depending on the weather, which is always up in the air every single Easter. I think it would also be cute with this blue cardigan, or even a floral cardigan. Print on print has been a big trend lately!

I have been wearing a lot of light blue lately, and I don't see that stopping any time soon! If you saw my Instagram post yesterday, you probably saw these blue block heel sandals (that I also have in tan and black). I honestly don't think I have ever owned a pair of blue heels, but how perfect are they with this dress? They are also super cute with jeans (see this post when I wore my tan pair with jeans), and they are so comfortable you wouldn't believe it! I got every color except red, and now I am thinking about going back for the red pair. It is very rare that I find any kind of heels that I wouldn't mind walking around town in, so when I found these I didn't even hesitate to get multiple pairs. The more, the merrier!

Blue Ruffle Yoke Top

Ruffles are everywhere you look these days, and I am absolutely loving it! Ruffled sleeves, ruffled hemlines, ruffled collars - if you can ruffle it, it has officially been ruffled. I love everything about this Who What Wear top. Powder blue is a big trend for spring, and of course stripes make everything better! I am obsessed with the pretty, feminine collar detail and the cute buttons down the front. I paired it with a simple pair of skinny jeans, but I think it would look adorable tucked into a white or navy skirt.

YSL Bag from Trendlee

I just got another amazing bag from Trendlee to share with you! It's the Saint Laurent Monogram Cabas Leather Medium, and I am so obsessed with it! The structure of the bag is so classic, and it is the most perfect shade of grey. I immediately knew I had to pair it with my new floral pleat skirt for a classy and ladylike spring look.

Charlotte London Waterfall Jacket

Downtown Dallas is one of my favorite places to hang out. I love the hustle and bustle of the city, and all of my favorite coffee shops and restaurants are near downtown. Earlier this week, we took an afternoon stroll along the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge before grabbing lunch at Off-Site Kitchen (which may not have been a good idea while wearing a white top - but #worthit).

Chambray Off the Shoulder Top

Happy Thursday, friends! Today I wanted to share with you the most adorable chambray off the shoulder top that I picked up recently. I have been loving the chambray trend these past few years, and I don't think it's going away anytime soon. Everywhere I look I see another cute chambray piece that I want in my closet. GIVE ME ALL THE CHAMBRAY THINGS. Just can't get enough! I am a big fan of blue and white, so I paired it with these white denim jeans for a casual, yet chic spring look.

Black Lace Romper

It definitely felt like spring yesterday here in Dallas. The temperature was perfect for this black lace romper. I have been obsessed with lace lately - it's just so classic, feminine, and sexy. It will never go out of style! This romper is SO comfy, and I honestly didn't want to take it off. I dressed it down a bit for the daytime with these black slide sandals (under $25) and my Elaine Turner blush clutch, but you could throw on some black pumps and a red velvet clutch to glam it up for a night out on the town.

Blush Ruffle Jumpsuit

If you couldn't already guess, blush pink is my favorite color of all time. It's such a soft, subtle pink, and some may not consider it pink at all. It's a color that works for any season, but especially spring. I absolutely adore this blush culotte jumpsuit, with its frilly neckline and flowy bottoms. The back detail may be the prettiest part of this piece. If it's still a bit chilly where you are right now, just throw on this floral scarf to add a bit of warmth.
