Subscription boxes excite me. It's like Christmas every month opening up a package that I know is filled with stuff I will love. I have tried a few subscription boxes, but Pop Sugar Must Have is definitely the best one out there if you are looking for a little variety. There is good mixture of beauty, fashion, food, and general awesomeness. I have discovered some amazing brands through this box, and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with what's inside! The September Pop Sugar Must Have box included:
This past weekend, Garrett and I headed down to Fort Worth for a photo shoot and lunch on Magnolia Avenue. I knew we would be doing a bit of walking, so I threw on this casual striped top from THML Clothing with my favorite distressed jeans. I've been really into mixing prints lately and loved how this leopard clutch looked against the navy and mustard yellow stripes.
Last Friday, CND (Creative Nail Design) invited me out to Fashion X Dallas for a fun night of fashion, beauty, and a Vinylux manicure at the CND/ULTA pop up mani bar. If you haven't heard of Vinylux, it is a chip-resistant weekly nail polish that lasts 7-10 days. CND is the brand behind Shellac, so they know what they're doing when it comes to lasting nail polish! The great thing about Vinylux is that you can do it yourself just like any other nail polish - no trip to the salon required. It's a 2-step application process (color coat and top coat). When you're ready to take it off, just use regular nail polish remover. Super easy, and it really does last longer than any other nail polish I've used! I chose the color "Cake Pop" for my mani, and I can vouch that it lasted an entire 7 days with only one small chip.
I have been obsessed with anything and everything olive lately, so when I saw this olive green twist front top at Nordstrom, I quickly snatched it up! I think the front is just so unique, and you can totally control the amount of midriff you show. If you want to show more, you can just pull the top back at the shoulders. If you want to show less, just pull the front down a bit and you will have a deeper v neck. Or you can wear it with some high waist jeans and not have to even think about it! I think this top is perfect for the fall transition, and as it gets cooler, you can throw on a cozy cardigan over it.
